Projects and technologies

• DriftLess This technology estimates the offsets (biases) of any type of sensor that measures a vector quantity. Examples of such sensors are: accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, gravimeters etc.

• EggLogger EggLogger is the name of a small datalogger that can be inserted in 3D-printed eggs. These devices are used to measure and record the temperature and turning of the egg in the nest while the bird is breeding.

• ReflectorSurveying A technology to estimate reflector positions and, at the same time, vehicle navigation errors using the measurements of an autonomously driving vehicle.

• 0.1℃ Temperature sensor A temperature sensor with an accuracy of 0.1 ℃. This sensor can be connected to a USB port of the computer. A special design is made to prevent self-heating of the sensor and warming-up by other electronic components on the printed circuit board.

• Active insulation An innovative concept to get near ideal heat insulation of homes and offices. Even with limited insulation materials, the residual heat lost to the environment will be negligible compared to traditional insulation methods. Currently working on a proof of principle set-up.

• AGV navigation demo A demonstration set-up to show the benefits of the DriftLess+ technology to improve the navigation system of an AGV. See also my white paper: DriftLess technology for AGV's
